Things to know about travelling with APAC Journey during the pandemic.

We’ve changed the way we do things at APAC Journey to meet COVID-19 requirements. We know many of our clients are at high-risk, so we’re going above and beyond to keep you safe.


Our staff:

  • Are inducted and trained in the APAC Journey COVID-19 Safe Plan (link page), COVID-19  Policy and Procedure (link page) and follow specific COVID-19  SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements).

  • Maintain the COVID-19  Checklist Questionnaire for all customers, a COVID-19  Workplace Attendance Register, and a COVID-19 Health Questionnaire.

  • Appropriately use PPE (gloves and masks, for example), and maintain a safe working distance.

  • Complete the COVID-19 Direct Care Skill Set Program, including:

  • HLTWHS005 Conduct manual tasks safely

  • HLTINF001 Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures

  • CHCCCS011 Meet personal support needs.


Upon request we can:

  • Complete and assist with COVID-19 quarantining.

  • Test and/or quarantine for COVID-19 before attending your journey.


 How we travel safely during COVID-19.

  • We’ll ask you to submit a COVID-19 questionnaire form prior to travel. This form is necessary to determine that you haven’t unknowingly come into contact with COVID-19.

  • Face masks or coverings are essential to wear throughout the journey during this time.

  • Our staff complete a PCR COVID-19 test every month.

  • They thoroughly disinfect all journeys using approved and safe chemicals (before, during, and after the trip).

  • We also provide free disinfectant and hand sanitiser to help you travel with confidence.

  • We ask that you socially distance from your companions by sitting at the back of vehicles (where possible) and by opening the window.

  • All staff carry a Touch-less Forehead Infrared Thermometer to monitor the temperatures of all staff and customers upon arrival.
